Integrating Intercom with your website

Intercom is a customer communication platform that lets internet businesses communicate with customers personally and at scale. It has a suite of integrated products for every team - sales, marketing, product, and support. The software enables targeted communications with customers on websites, in web and mobile apps, on Facebook Messenger, and by Email.

To use this tool:

  1. In the editor, click Settings. 
  2. Under the Plugins tab, click the blue Manage Plugins button. 
  3. In the list of your plugins, click +Add New Plugin. 
  4. In the Live Support Chat tab, find Intercom and click the blue Add button. 
  5. The window that appears will ask you for your application ID - this is the code Intercom gives you to connect to your website. 
  6. Check your Intercom account and once you get the code, copy/paste the relevant section (shown in the window) into the application ID field. 
  7. Then, on the "Enable?" field, choose Yes from the dropdown. 
  8. Once done, click save. 

Please note that this plugin is only accessible to premium (paid) websites and accounts.
