To receive incoming emails on your platform-hosted mail account when your domain is managed by an external provider, you must manually update your MX (Mail Exchange) records.
If your domain is not managed under the platform's nameservers, follow these steps in your domain provider's management panel:
Log in to your domain management panel and locate the DNS settings.
Clear Existing Records: Remove all current MX records listed in your settings to avoid delivery conflicts.
Add New Records: Create the following three MX entries exactly as shown:
Record 1
Type: MX
Host: @ (or leave empty)
Points to: mailme.enter-system.com
Priority: 0
Record 2
Type: MX
Host: @ (or leave empty)
Points to: mailme.enter-system.com
Priority: 10
Record 3
Type: MX
Host: @ (or leave empty)
Points to: mailme-backup.enter-system.com
Priority: 20
Click Apply or Save to finalize the changes.
Propagation Time: Be aware that DNS updates are not instantaneous and can take up to 24 hours to fully update across the internet.
Backup Server: The third record (priority 20) serves as a backup to ensure your emails are still received even if the primary servers are temporarily unreachable.
