Your website can be set to several access modes depending on what you need:
- Public (Default) – Your site is live and searchable by anyone.
- Password – Visitors see a password screen. Great for sharing a “work in progress” with specific people.
- Under Construction – Your content is completely hidden from visitors while you make major updates.
- Members Only – Visitors must sign up for an account to view the site (useful for communities and collecting emails).
- Confirmed Members Only – Like Members Only, but you manually approve each registration before they can access.
Note: For member-based modes, users can log in with email, or via Google/Facebook. There’s no option to customize the login page or add extra login requirements (like phone number or name).
