Building websites as an Expert provides you with immediate access to all platform features and design tools, allowing you to create high-end sites from the start. To ensure you receive commissions and expert benefits, you must correctly categorize each new project as a "Client" website.
To ensure the site is properly tagged and eligible for commissions, follow these steps:
Go to your Dashboard.
Click New Website and select Create new website.
Click the specific option: CREATE A NEW WEBSITE FOR YOUR CLIENT.
Select the appropriate business category and enter the website name.
Optional: Assign the site to a group or change the primary language.
Once created, the site will appear in your dashboard with the ‘Expert Website’ tag.
If you want to build a site for your own use (not for a client):
Go to your Dashboard.
Click New Website and select Create new website.
Click Create a new website for yourself.
Unlocked Tools – Client websites are opened with the full suite of your website design options and features enabled immediately.
Commission Tracking – Only sites created using the "For Your Client" path are automatically linked to your Expert Panel for commission approvals.
Project Organization – Using groups during the creation process helps you keep multiple client projects organized as your portfolio grows.
Tag Verification – Always check your dashboard for the "Expert Website" tag after creating a site to confirm it is correctly registered to your Expert account.
Feature Availability – Building under the Expert path allows you to demonstrate premium features to clients before they even upgrade to a paying package.
