Providing a variety of product options and searchable attributes helps customers find exactly what they are looking for and enhances the professional feel of your store.
To add specific choices like size or color to a product, follow these steps:
In the Website Editor.
Find the Store page and click the Store button.
Inside the All Products tab, click the specific product you want to edit, click the 3 Dots icon, and select Edit, then select the Options tab.
Enable Product Options and click the Add Option button.
Enter the options you want to offer, such as Color or Size.
Click the Pencil icon to edit these options or manage specific variants and stock levels.
Attributes are used to describe fixed characteristics of a product that help with filtering:
While editing a product, go to the Attributes tab.
Add specific characteristics like Material, Shape, or Value.
These attributes will be available for customers to use as filters when browsing your store.
Once your options and attributes are set, you can control how they appear as filters for your customers:
Click the Settings tab within your Store manager.
Select Options & Attributes from the menu.
Filter Column: Enable the specific options or attributes you want to be available for customers to use as filters.
Status Column: Enable the filter box if you want it to appear "opened" by default when a customer views the filter sidebar.
Manage Column: Click Edit to adjust option details or use the arrows icon to drag and reorder how the filters are displayed on the live site.
Customer Navigation – Properly set attributes and options allow customers to quickly narrow down large catalogs to find products that meet their specific needs.
Variant Management – Remember that adding an option (like "Size") allows you to then manage unique stock levels and prices for each specific variant (like "Small" vs. "Large").
