Two common reasons:
- DNS propagation: DNS changes typically take some time to process across the web, so it may not work immediately.
- Provider interface updates: Because 1&1 Ionos is an external provider, their interface and steps may change as they update their services. If you don’t see the exact same menus, look for the equivalent options to edit A and CNAME records.
If it was just changed → wait for DNS to update
If menus look different → find “Edit DNS” / A record / CNAME options
