Connect 1and1 Domain with Your Website

To point your 1and1 domain to your website, you'll need to update two specific records in your domain management panel: the A record and the CNAME record.

Step-by-Step Connection Guide

1. Access Your Account: Log in to your 1and1 account.

2. Navigate to Domains: Click the Administration tab and select Domains.

3. Edit DNS Settings:

   • Find the domain you wish to connect and click the downward-pointing arrow.

   • Select Edit DNS Settings.

4. Configure the A Record:

   • Select Other IP address.

   • In the IP address field, enter 54.76.177.85 and click Save.

5. Create a Subdomain:

   • Click New and then Create Subdomain.

   • Enter www and click OK.

6. Configure the CNAME Record:

   • Select the checkbox next to the newly created www subdomain.

   • From the DNS menu, select Edit DNS Settings.

   • Select CNAME.

   • In the Alias field, enter global.loadweb.com and click OK.

• Service Updates: Since 1&1 Ionos is an external provider, their interface and specific steps may evolve as they update their services.
