To make sure your redirects work correctly:
- Redirect from an inactive page: the Old URL should be an address that’s no longer active (often returning an error).
- Point to an active page: the New URL should be a valid, working page on your site.
- Double-check accuracy: even a small typo in either URL can cause the redirect to fail and keep the 404 happening.
- Keep it enabled: once saved and enabled, the redirect works automatically for anyone using the old link.
