The Floating Share Button (also called the “Share Magic Button”) lets visitors instantly share your website on social networks. Enabling it from the SITE123 editor places a fixed round button on every page that expands to multiple social icons, boosting engagement and reach.
Steps to reproduce:
- Log in to your SITE123 account and enter the website editor.
- From the left-hand menu choose Design.
- Click Footer. A new panel appears with footer-specific options.
- Locate Floating Share Button (Share Magic Button) and switch the toggle to On.
- Click Edit next to the toggle. The Share Magic settings window opens.
- Press Show Options to display the list of available networks.
• Select any service you want to add (e.g., WhatsApp, LinkedIn). Each click turns the icon on or off.
- (Optional) Under Quick Colors pick a ready-made color scheme – for example Black or White – to match your site’s design.
- When you are done, click the X at the top-right of the window to close it.
- Use the preview frame to confirm the floating button appears. Click it to make sure the social icons expand correctly.
- Publish or save your changes.
After turning on and customizing the Floating Share Button, a circular share icon will be visible on every page of your website. Visitors can now quickly share your content on the social networks you enabled, helping you gain more traffic and visibility.
