Donately is a powerful online fundraising tool designed to improve the donor experience, simplify your administrative processes, and help increase your online revenue through seamless donation forms.
To connect the service, you first need to retrieve your unique identifier from your Donately dashboard.
Log in to your Donately account (or create one at donately.com).
Navigate to your Account Settings or Integrations tab.
Locate and copy your Account ID or the specific Donation Form ID you wish to use.
Unlike standard plugins, Donately is added as a dedicated page on your website.
In your Website Editor, click the Pages tab.
Click the Add New Page button.
Select the App Market tab and search for the Donately page.
Click Add to create the page.
Now you need to link your Donately account to the new page.
Find the Donately page in your page list and click the Edit button.
In the Application ID field, paste the unique code or ID you obtained from Donately.
Click Save.
To make your donation page live and ready to accept contributions:
Click the Publish button in the top corner of your editor.
Tip: Make sure to test the donation flow in "test mode" within your Donately dashboard before going live to ensure your payment processor is correctly connected.
