The Countdown Page is a dynamic tool designed to build excitement for upcoming events, product launches, or deadlines. By updating the message on this page, you can clearly communicate the purpose of the timer to your visitors.
To update the text on your Countdown page, use the following steps within the Website Editor:
In the top menu, click Pages.
Locate your Countdown page in the list and click its name or the Edit button to open its specific settings.
Select the Layout: In the side panel, ensure you have selected your preferred Countdown Type (e.g., Daily Counter) from the dropdown menu.
Edit the Message:
Click directly inside the Message displayed on completion of countdown text box.
Type the new text you want to appear when the timer finishes (e.g., "We're Live!").
Set the Target Time: Click the Date and Time field to select the specific deadline for your countdown using the calendar and clock picker.
Click the green Save button to apply the changes to the editor.
Instant Refresh – Once you click outside the text box or press Enter, the editor registers the change, and it will be visible in the live preview.
Going Public – Remember that your visitors will not see the updated message until you click the Publish button at the top of the editor.
Call-to-Action Integration – You can also add a countdown directly to your homepage as a "Goal" to create urgency for specific marketing campaigns.
Urgency Triggers – Using clear messages like "New features coming in" or "Sale starts now" creates a sense of urgency that can significantly boost conversion rates.
Completion Actions – You can choose what happens after the countdown ends, such as showing your custom message, doing nothing, or redirecting the user to a new URL.
