Connecting your own domain to your website is a key step in establishing a professional online presence. Before beginning, ensure your website has an active Premium Package, as domain connection is a premium feature.
Use this if you want to keep your current domain registrar but point the traffic to your website:
Log in to your account and go to your Website Dashboard.
Select Change Domain.
Click on + Add Existing Domain and add your domain to the list.
Update Records: You must point your domain to your website's DNS by editing your CNAME (pointing to global.loadweb.com) and A records (pointing to 166.117.120.15) at your current registrar.
Propagation: These changes typically take up to 24 hours to become active.
Use this to move your domain registration entirely so you can manage your website and domain in one place:
Unlock & Auth Code: Contact your current provider to unlock the domain and obtain the EPP/Auth code.
Initiate Transfer: On the side menu, under Domains, select Transfer Domain.
Submit Request: Enter your domain name, select the correct TLD (e.g., .com), and enter the EPP code.
Timeline: The transfer process usually takes 5–7 days to complete.
Transferring ".co.uk" Domain: to transfer your co.uk domain, provide the following IPS Tag to your current domain registrar: PDR-IN
Once a transfer is initiated, it cannot be canceled. Transferred domains are placed on a 60-day transfer hold once the transfer is completed, meaning they cannot be transferred again until the hold is lifted.
Premium Requirement – You must have an active Premium Package to connect or transfer a custom domain.
Email Sensitivity – If you choose to change NS records instead of just A/CNAME records, your existing external email services will be deactivated until you reconfigure your MX records in the website panel.
"Domain is in a Different Account" Message - If you receive a message stating that your domain is already connected to an account when trying to add it, this may indicate that you previously linked the domain to a different account with us. To resolve this issue, you will need to log into that other account and disconnect the domain.
