The Text Editor Tool

Use the Text Editor tool to add information to your website, such as text, images, links, and tables. This tool is available on pages like Content, Articles, and Blog, where editing is performed by adding specific sections rather than free text.

Text Editor Options

Within the text editor, you can utilize several sections to build your content:

• Add Your Text - Add text blocks to your page. Highlight a word or sentence to reveal editing options like Bold, Italic, and Hyperlink.

• Header and Ordered List - Organize your information by adding Headers or creating Ordered lists.

• Add Images - Insert an image and click Size to resize it, or Change to select a different one. You can also use the Image Editor or add Alternative text and links.

• Video and Custom Code - Embed a Video directly into the editor or add Custom Code like HTML.

• Horizontal Rule - Insert a horizontal line to visually separate different sections.

• Attach a File - Upload files (up to 100MB) such as .pdf, .doc, or .mp3 for visitors to download.

• Add a Table - Insert a table and click individual cells for further editing options.

• Code Snippet - Use this block to display formatted code snippets to your visitors.

Enhance with AI  

Use the power of AI to enhance your text tone, format, and approachability 

• Current Text - This will show the segment of text that was selected for editing.
• Action - Choose an action that the AI tool will perform. Choose between the following: 
  • Expand - Use this option to add additional information to your text based on the text content
  • Reduce - Use this option to reduce the text and retain its coherence and tone
  • Rewrite - Use this option to rewrite the selected text segment completely
• Tone -  Select the tone you would like for your edit, choose between Professional, Casual, Friendly, Formal, and Custom. When choosing custom, you will be able to enter your own directions, and the AI tool will use them as the base for the edit tone.

Note: Enhancing text with AI uses your website AI credit. You can review your current AI credit status at the bottom of the tool window. 

Manage Sections and Mobile View

You can control the structure of your page using the management icons:

• Move Sections - Click the up or down arrows to change the position of content blocks.

• Delete Sections - Click the trashcan icon to remove a specific section.

• View Toggle - Switch between Mobile and Desktop views to check how your page appears on different devices.

Additional Editor Options

On specific pages like Schedule Booking, E-commerce, and FAQ, you will find advanced tools to enrich your content:

• Colors and Formatting - Set colors for your text or text background (highlight).

• Paragraph Format - Organize text using Headings (H1, H2, etc.), which helps search engines index and prioritize your titles.

• Indent and Quotes - Increase or decrease paragraph indents or set text as a Quote to increase its size.

• Advanced Text - Use Subscript or Superscript for specific characters, or use Clear Formatting to return text to its default style.

• Utility Tools - Use Select All, Clear HTML (to remove all text), or Full Screen to enlarge the editor to your full screen size.

• File Limits - Ensure any files you attach for download stay within the 100MB size limit.

• Image Customization - You can change the width and height of an image directly using the Change Size option in the advanced tools.
