The Blog Page – Settings tab allows you to fine-tune how posts behave and display on your website. This centralizes all display and interaction options, from comments to social sharing, in one place.
To manage the behavior of your blog posts, follow these steps:
In the left sidebar of the Website Editor, open Pages and select your existing Blog page.
Click Manage to enter the Blog Page edit
Click the Settings tab, which is the fourth tab in the blog module window.
Once in the Settings tab, you can adjust the following features to adapt the blog to your audience's needs:
Comments Type - Pick between comments, Facebook comments, or disable them entirely.
Auto-confirm Comments - Decide if new comments should be published automatically or require manual approval.
Subscribe Type - Choose the specific method readers use to subscribe to your blog updates.
Show Number of Comments - Toggle a live comment count to appear under each post.
Estimated Reading Time - Display an approximate reading time at the top of your articles.
Related Posts - Turn on suggestions to show additional articles to your readers.
Social Share Buttons - Add or remove icons that allow readers to share your posts on social media.
Publish Date - Choose whether to show or hide the date the post was published.
Automatic Internal Links - Enable the system to automatically link keywords to other relevant posts on your site.
Custom Labels - Edit the blog labels to fit your needs
Toggle the Adsense option ON to allow ads on your blog page, and use the RSS Link to allow your readers to subscribe to your blog with an RSS reader
Ensure your configuration is saved and visible:
When you finish adjusting your options, click Save.
Close the settings window and publish your site to make these changes live immediately.
Engagement - Enabling features like Related Posts and Social Share Buttons can help encourage deeper engagement with minimal effort.
Reader Experience - Toggling Estimated Reading Time provides a cleaner reading experience by setting expectations for your audience.
Moderation - Using the Auto-confirm Comments toggle gives you control over what content appears in your blog's discussion sections.
