You can customize the design of your category tabs directly in the preview mode. This allows you to adjust the look of your category filters within the Website Editor to better match your site's aesthetic.
To adjust the look of your category filters, follow these steps:
Go to the category section you want to change, such as a Restaurant Menu or Gallery.
Hover your mouse over the categories to reveal the side settings menu.
Click on the Gear button.
Select the Category Layout option to open the design window.
You can choose from several distinct design styles:
Default - A clean, text-based appearance for your category filters.
Background Fill - Adds a solid background color to the category tabs.
Rounded - Features a pill-shaped outline for a softer visual style.
Rounded Fill - Combines a pill shape with a solid background color.
Selected Background - Applies a background fill only to the currently selected category.
Selected Color - Highlights the active category by changing its text color.
Selected Color Separator - Displays a vertical line between each category tab.
Selected Color Slash - Uses a stylish diagonal slash to separate the category terms.
Visual Consistency - Using a consistent category layout across different pages helps create a unified brand experience for your visitors.
Real-time Updates - Changes made in the design window are reflected instantly in the editor preview.
Mobile View - Always check your category tab design on mobile view to ensure the filters remain easy to tap and navigate.
