The Online Course Page allows you to create, manage, and sell educational content while providing students with clear details about their syllabus and learning goals.
To start building your curriculum, follow these steps in the Website Editor:
In the Website Editor, go to your Page List.
Find Online Courses in the list or click Add New Page.
Update the page Title and slogan.
You can manage the items of the Course Page directly from the page or through the item list:
Direct Management - Hover your mouse cursor over an item to reveal a toolbar where you can Edit the information, Duplicate (Pages Icon) the items, Rearrange them using arrows, or Delete (Trashcan Icon) them.
Manage Button - Click Manage to open the item list, where you can drag items to reposition them or use the Three Dots Icon to Edit, Duplicate, Preview, or Delete.
Click the Add New Course button to configure your curriculum:
Course Info: Enter the course name and a short description. Use textAI to quickly add a description based on your website data and course name
Categories: Click Add New Category to organize courses by subject.
Media: Click Choose Image to upload a representative photo (up to 50MB) from your computer or add an image from the Image Library, External sources such as Facebook and more, or generate a custom image using the Generative AI tool.
Access & Pricing: Choose between Paid (only after payment), Sign Up (requires registration), or Free (open to all). You can also toggle On Sale to add a discounted price.
The maximum file size for uploads depends on your package type. Below, you can find the maximum file size limitations for each package.
Basic: 500MB
Advanced: 1GB
Professional: 2GB
Gold: 3GB
Platinum: 5GB.
When uploading media, use the following supported formats:
Divide your course into a structured path using sections and lessons:
Sections: Click Add Section to create parts of your syllabus, such as "Module 1".
Lessons: Click Edit within a section to add lesson names and descriptions.
Lesson Preview: Toggle Preview Lesson to allow users to view specific content before purchasing the full course.
Video & Audio: Choose to host videos via YouTube, Vimeo, or upload them directly. You can also upload Audio-only files.
Manage how users sign up and interact with your courses:
Registration Form: Use the custom form builder to define what information students must provide when they sign up.
Abandoned Order Reminder: Found under the Settings tab, this tool sends automated emails to users who left items in their cart.
Custom Labels: Adjust the internal terminology used throughout the course pages.
SEO: Access Custom SEO settings to improve the visibility of your courses on search engines.
You can offer recurring access to your courses through the Settings tab:
Go to the Settings tab.
Set Change courses to subscription-based payment to On.
Click Edit to set the Pricing Interval (Monthly, every 3, 6, or 12 months) and the subscription amount.
Payment Processing: If you use Stripe, payments are automatically recurring; otherwise, students receive email renewal reminders 10 days before the period ends.
Note: You can only select either a subscription or direct payment; direct payment cannot be modified while a subscription is active.
