Invite your visitors to interact with your website using a Call To Action. This guide explains how to add buttons, incorporate video pop-ups, and offer newsletter sign-ups directly from your homepage.
To enable a Call to Action on your homepage, follow these steps:
Open the Elements Menu: Hover over your homepage section and click the plus (+) icon next to the "Layouts" button. This will open the Add Elements window.
Enable the Action Button: In the pop-up menu, ensure the Action Button checkbox is selected.
Access Button Settings: Mouse hover on the newly created button to reveal the floating edit bar, then click the Settings (gear icon).
Choose Your CTA Type: A sidebar will appear on the left. Click the Call to Action drop-down menu to select your preferred interaction:
Buttons: Add up to two buttons to redirect users to specific pages, external links, or contact info.
Video Pop-Up: Link a video (like a YouTube or Vimeo clip) that plays in a lightbox when the button is clicked.
Mailing List: Transform the button into a signup trigger to collect visitor emails for your newsletter.
Search Box: Add a search box to find keywords on your website.
Buttons allow visitors to quickly contact you, book meetings, or visit specific URLs. Once added, you can customize the button name, settings, and visual style.
Button Action Types: Under Settings, you can define the button's specific function:
Redirect URL - Link to a specific page on your site or an external URL (opens in a new or current window).
Scroll - Direct users to a specific section elsewhere on the website.
Contact Information - Set the button to display a phone number or an email address.
Download File - Attach a file for users to download directly.
Icon - Add a visual icon from the library to the button.
Button Style (Gear Icon)Match your button to your website's aesthetic by clicking the Button Gear Icon:
Button Style - Choose design options such as rounded or pointed edges.
Font Style - Select a different font from the provided options.
Appearance - Adjust transparency and color settings to fit your theme.
Engage visitors by presenting a video that triggers when clicked:
YouTube/Vimeo - Add a video by simply pasting the link into the Video Link field.
Custom Source - Upload a video from your computer, use the Video Library, or import from external sources like Google Drive or Dropbox.
Selecting the Mailing List option adds an email field and a "Subscribe" button to your homepage. This allows you to grow your audience and keep them informed about your business.
