Edit the Website Footer Show Social Networks

This article explains how to display social network icons in your SITE123 website footer and add links to Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. When enabled, visitors will see the icons in the footer and can click them to reach your social profiles.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Sign in to the SITE123 editor
   • Go to the Manager login page and log in with your SITE123 account credentials.
2. Open the website editor
   • After login, you are automatically redirected to the website wizard for the project you selected.
3. Go to Design ➜ Footer
   • In the left-hand panel click Design, then click Footer.
4. Show the Social Networks section
   • In the Footer settings, locate the checkbox labeled Show Social Networks and tick it to turn the feature on.
5. Click Edit next to Social Networks
   • This opens the Social Networks management window in an embedded frame.
6. Add Facebook
   • Click Add Social.
   • Select Facebook from the icon list.
   • Paste https://www.facebook.com/ into the link field.
   • Click Update to confirm.
7. Add Instagram
   • Click Add Social again.
   • Select Instagram from the icon list.
   • Paste https://www.instagram.com/ into the link field.
   • Click Update.
8. Add LinkedIn
   • Click Add Social once more.
   • Select LinkedIn from the icon list.
   • Paste https://www.linkedin.com/ into the link field.
   • Click Update.
9. Save your changes
   • Click Save in the Social Networks window.
   • Your footer now shows the three social icons with the links you provided.

You have successfully enabled the Social Networks section in your footer and linked Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. Remember to publish your site so visitors can see the new icons. You can return to the same Footer settings at any time to add more networks, edit links or remove icons.
