Adding a new menu item on the Restaurant Reservations page allows diners to see the latest dishes you offer and book tables accordingly. The following guide walks you through logging in, opening the page in the editor, and creating a brand-new dish with an image, price, and category.
Log in to your SITE123 account
• Open the Manager URL that directs you to the website wizard.
• Enter your username and password, then click Login.
Open the Restaurant Reservations page
• In the left panel, go to Pages.
• Locate Restaurant Reservations (or the page name you assigned) and click it to load the page items.
Add a new dish
• Inside the items list, click Add New Item.
• In the Title field, type the dish name (e.g., Special House Dish).
• Click Suggest Text and choose Apply if you’d like the AI to generate a description.
Set the price
• Click the Price field and enter the amount (e.g., 15).
Add an image
• Expand the image section (chevron icon) and click Image Library.
• In the pop-up, search for a relevant keyword (e.g., dish) and press Enter.
• Select an image to attach it to your dish.
Create or assign a category
• Expand Categories and click Add Category.
• Type a category name (e.g., House Dishes) and click Save.
• Select the new category to tag the dish.
Save your work
• Click Save or Apply (depending on the interface) to finish.
• Your new dish now appears on the Restaurant Reservations page, ready for customers to see.
You have successfully added a new menu item with a title, AI-generated description, price, image, and category. Repeat the same steps to keep your menu fresh and engaging for visitors.
