The AI Builder can help you create pages, forms, sections, and other website elements. The quality of the result depends largely on the instructions you provide.
Use the following tips to write clearer prompts and get more accurate results.
Before submitting a prompt, take a moment to think about exactly what you want the AI to create or change.
The more specific your instructions are, the easier it will be for the AI to understand your request and provide the result you expect.
A clear prompt should explain:
What you want to create or change
Where the new element should appear
What information or features it should include
How it should look
Any text, colors, or design preferences you want to use
Providing detailed instructions also reduces the chance that the AI will make assumptions or add elements you did not request.
For example, consider the following prompt:
"Add a page to the website."
This prompt does not explain what type of page should be added. The AI may create a contact page, promotional page, custom form, or another type of page.
Because the request is too general, the AI must decide what kind of page to create, which may lead to an unwanted result.
Instead, provide a more detailed prompt:
"Create a contact page that includes one contact form.
Add the following fields to the form:
First name
Last name
Phone number
Email address
A short text box where visitors can explain why they are contacting me
Position the form at the top of the page, directly below the page title.
Set the page title to “Contact Me.”
Add a blue contact button below the form.
Make sure the page background and overall design match the rest of the website."
This prompt gives the AI clear instructions about the page type, content, layout, text, and design.
As a result, the AI is more likely to create the page correctly and reduce the amount of editing required afterward.
Tip - use the help of AI tools such as ChatGPT or Gemini to help you come up with better versions of your prompt, then provide it to the AI builder to execute.
Use the planner option to plan ahead. The planner will allow you to discuss changes and additions to your website with the AI, without the AI creating a single line of code until you confirm it
This gives you the flexibility and freedom to work out ideas before committing to them by adding them to your website
To use the Planner, click the List Icon to the left of Send Button, and describe the change you want to add, the AI will start offering options or explain the steps it is about to take, click Build Now in the chat window to order the AI to create the code for the website.
Click the List Icon Again to leave the Planner mode and generate content directly
You can provide the AI with a visual example of the result you want.
For example, you can upload:
A screenshot of your current website
An image showing a preferred layout
A screenshot from another website containing an element you like
An example of a color, button, section, or design style
To capture part of your website:
Click the Screen Capture (camera icon) below the chat text box.
Capture the relevant part of your website.
Use the editing tools to draw arrows or circles around the elements you want the AI to review.
Click Add to Chat.
Enter a prompt explaining what you want the AI to create or change.
Do not rely on the screenshot alone. Include written instructions that clearly explain which part of the image the AI should use and what action it should perform.
For example:
Use the attached screenshot as a layout reference. Create a similar section below the homepage header, but use the colors and fonts already used on my website.
Different AI models may approach the same request differently.
Changing the model may be helpful when:
You want the AI to analyze a more complex request
The current model is not producing the expected result
The AI repeatedly misunderstands your instructions
You want to compare the results produced by different models
To change the AI model:
Click the Robot icon below the chat text box.
Select a different AI model.
Review your prompt and make sure it contains clear and detailed instructions.
Submit the prompt again.
Changing the model may improve the result, but it is still important to provide a complete and specific prompt.
Note: Different AI models may use different amounts of AI credits. The credit cost may be higher or lower depending on the selected model.
