Twitter Conversion Tracking allows you to measure your return on investment by tracking the actions users take after viewing or engaging with your ads on Twitter. It helps you target your audience based on interests, geography, gender, device, and even specific keywords used in Tweets.
Before configuring the editor, you must obtain your tracking ID from your Twitter (X) Ads account.
Log in to your Twitter Ads account.
Go to the Tools menu and select Events manager.
Set up your web pixel if you haven't already.
Locate and copy your Pixel ID (the unique alphanumeric code associated with your account).
Once you have your ID, follow these steps to integrate it with your website:
In your Website Editor, click the Settings (gear icon) and select Plugins.
Click the Add New button and select Add New Plugin.
Search for Twitter Conversion Tracking and click Add.
In the Application ID field, paste the Pixel ID you copied from Twitter.
Set the Enable toggle to Yes.
Click Save.
To activate the tracking on your live site, you must apply the changes:
Click the Publish button in the top corner of your editor.
Note: It may take up to 24 hours for Twitter to begin reflecting conversion data in your Ads dashboard after the first visit to your published site.
