This article explains how to enable your Terms of Service link in the website footer and update its title and description from inside the SITE123 editor. Follow the steps below if you would like visitors to see your legal terms at the bottom of every page.
Step by Step Guide:
- Log in to your SITE123 account and open the project you would like to edit.
- From the main left-hand menu, click Design.
- Inside the Design panel, select the Footer tab (4th item in the sub-navigation bar).
- Locate the setting labeled Show Terms of Service and toggle the checkbox to ON.
- Click Edit next to the Terms of Service setting. A pop-up editor will open.
- In the pop-up, edit the Title field (for example, "Terms of Service" or "Legal Notice").
- Click inside the description area and replace the placeholder text (“Please add your description here”) with your own terms.
- Review your changes, then press Save.
- Publish or refresh your website to confirm the Terms of Service link now appears in the footer and opens the text you entered.
Once enabled and saved, your Terms of Service link will be displayed automatically in the footer of every page on your site. Remember to keep this legal information up to date, especially if you change your business practices or collect new types of data from users. If the link does not appear, double-check that the checkbox is enabled and that you pressed Save in the editor pop-up.
