A visible and accurate Terms of Service (TOS) page builds trust with your visitors and protects you legally. The SITE123 editor lets you quickly enable the TOS link in your website footer and customize its title and content without touching any code.
Steps to reproduce:
- Sign in to the SITE123 editor
• Go to https://app.site123-staging.com/manager/login and log in with your account credentials. - Open the relevant website in the editor
• After login, you will be redirected to the website wizard. - Enter the Design settings
• Click Design in the top-left menu of the wizard. - Switch to the Footer tab
• In the secondary navigation bar that appears, choose the fourth option (Footer). - Show the Terms of Service link
• Scroll to the legal section and enable the checkbox labeled “Terms of Service.” The TOS link immediately appears in the live preview of your footer. - Edit the Terms of Service text
• Click the Edit button that shows up next to the checkbox you just enabled.
• In the editor popup, change the Title field if you want (default: “Terms of Service”).
• Click inside the description area and replace the placeholder text with your own TOS content. - Save your changes
• After editing, click the Save button to apply the new Terms of Service to your site. - Publish (optional)
• If you are ready for the changes to go live, click Publish in the main toolbar.
You have now added a Terms of Service link to your site’s footer and customized its content. Visitors can easily access your legal information from any page, helping you maintain transparency and comply with regulations.
