Adding a Privacy Policy to your website helps build trust with visitors and ensures transparency about how data is collected and used.
In this guide, you’ll learn how to enable, edit, and display your Privacy Policy link on your site.

Legal Compliance
We provide the technical tools to help you add a Privacy Policy, but it is your responsibility to ensure your website complies with local privacy laws. We recommend consulting a legal professional if needed.
Update Placeholder Text
Be sure to replace any default placeholder content so your policy looks professional and accurate.
Footer Visibility
The Privacy Policy link stays in the footer to ensure visitors can easily access it from any page.
Adding Privacy Policy to the website header
The link to the Privacy Policy cannot be included in the website header. If you would like to display your policy on your homepage, you can add it to a content page that will be visible when scrolling through the website. You can hide the added content page from the homepage, making it only visible in the header as a menu item. This requires the website to be set up as a multi-page website.
