Edit the Pop-up tool Settings

This guide explains how to create and activate a promotional pop-up.

 Follow the provided steps to set the type of pop-up you would like to have, choose what call to action you would like to present to your users, and select when and where the pop-up will appear. 

Enable Promotion Popups

To start building your promotional banner, you must first activate the pop-up feature within your design settings:

1. In the left-hand menu of the Website Editor, click Design.

2. Choose Footer to access footer-related design options.

3. Locate the Promotion Popups option and toggle the switch to ON.

4. Click Add Popup to begin the creation process.

Select and Configure Your Template

Choose a design that fits your sale and define where and when it should appear:

Template Selection

 Pick a template from the template options. Choose between:

• Text - The pop-up will include textual information only 

• Text With Button - The pop-up will include textual information and a button

• Text With Mailing List - The pop-up will include textual information and an option to join your mailing list

• Text With Form - The pop-up will include textual information and an option to submit contact information. You can edit the receiving email address, the form title, and  use the Advanced options to customize the form by adding and removing fields 

Note: 

• When selecting the option to use Text with Mailiong lists, users must confirm their registration. They will be required to fill out a form with their information and actively confirm their registration through an email sent to the address they provided. If they do not confirm their email, they will not be added to your active mailing list, and you will not be able to include them in your mailing list promotions.
• When choosing a Text With Form template,  the information submitted through the form will be treated as a message and will be reflected in your form messages. However, the user details entered in the form will not be added to your customer list.

Popup Kind 

Select when you want the pop-up to appear. Choose between:

• Show a pop-up on exit action - This will display the pop-up when the user is about to leave the website

• Show a pop-up when the user enters the website - This will show the pop-up when the user enters the website

• Show a pop-up when the user scrolls down 30% of the page - This will show the pop-up when the user scrolls down 30% of the website

• Show a pop-up when the user scrolls down 70% of the page -This will show the pop-up when the user scrolls down 70% of the website

Note: The On Exit Option will not work on touch devices (e.g., mobile and tablet) because mouse-out detection does not function on touch devices.

Placement 

Set where on your website the pop-up will appear. Choose between: 

• Only Homepage

• All Pages

• All Pages Except Homepage

Frequency

 Set time intervals for the pop-up to appear. Choose between: 

• Every 24 hours

• Every 3 days

• Every 10 days

• Every 30 days

Customize Content and Call-to-Action

Personalize the message and the button to invite visitors to interact with your offer:

• Promotional Text - Enter your promotion details, such as "BLACK FRIDAY Sale".

• Visuals - Upload a relevant banner or product image to the dedicated image field.

• Call-to-Action - edit your pop-up call to action

Save and Activate

Finalize your pop-up to push it live to your audience:

1. Click Save inside the pop-up builder.

2. In the main Footer settings, click Save/Publish to activate the pop-up on your live site.

Notes

• Strategic Placement - Limiting the pop-up to the homepage prevents it from interrupting the user experience as they browse other sections of your site.

• User Experience - Setting the pop-up to show only once per session ensures that visitors are not overwhelmed by repetitive banners.

• Versatility - You can use this same workflow to create various pop-ups for different sales, events, or general announcements at any time.
