This guide explains how to create and activate a promotional popup (in this example – a Black Friday Sale banner) on your SITE123 website. By the end, the popup will appear only on your homepage and will invite visitors to click a “SHOP NOW” button.
Sign in to your SITE123 account
• Open the manager login page and enter your username and password.
• Click Login to access the site editor.
Navigate to the Design settings
• In the left-hand menu, click Design.
• Choose Footer to reach the footer-related design options.
Enable Promotion Popups
• Locate the Promotion Popups option (fifth toggle in the list).
• Switch it on, then click Add Popup.
Select a popup template
• In the template gallery that opens, pick the second template by clicking its thumbnail.
• Click Next (or the equivalent “✓” button) to move to the settings screen.
Define basic settings
• "Kind" – choose Promotion Popup (option 2).
• "Place" – select Only Homepage so the popup shows only on the home page.
• "Repeat" – set to Show Once so visitors see it a single time per session.
Add the promotional text
• In Title 1, type BLACK FRIDAY Sale.
• In Title 2, type Get a 50% discount!
(Optional) Upload an image
• Click the image upload field and add a relevant banner or product image if desired.
Customize the call-to-action button
• Expand the additional options (chevron icon).
• In Button Text, enter SHOP NOW.
Save and activate the popup
• Click Save inside the popup builder.
• Back in the Footer settings, click Save/Publish (third blue button) to push the popup live.
Your Black Friday promotional popup is now live and set to appear once to every visitor on the homepage. Use this same workflow to create additional popups, adjust display rules, or change the design at any time.
