Redirecting additional domains to your primary address is a great way to capture traffic from multiple URLs, such as common misspellings or alternative extensions, and consolidate them into a single website.
To set up a redirection, use the updated dashboard navigation flow:
Go to your website Dashboard.
On the side menu, click Settings.
Locate and click the Change Domain button and click the Redirect Domains button.
Add the Domain: Click the Redirect Existing Domain button.
Enter URL: Type in the domain you wish to redirect (be sure to include the www) and click Save.
For the redirection to work, the domain you are redirecting must be pointed to your website's servers at your registrar (such as GoDaddy or Namecheap) using these records:
A Record: Set the host to @ and point it to 54.76.177.85.
CNAME Record: Set the host to www and point it to global.loadweb.com.
Primary Domain Status – Redirection only works if you already have a main domain connected to your website project.
SEO Benefit – Redirecting multiple domains to a single primary domain helps prevent "duplicate content" issues with search engines while ensuring your brand is protected across different TLDs.
Propagation – Just like connecting a primary domain, these DNS changes can take up to 72 hours to fully update across the internet.
