Use the Header – Arrange Call-To-Action Buttons screen to control the order in which the buttons appear on your site’s header. Rearranging them allows you to highlight the button that is most important to your visitors.
To change the order of your call-to-action buttons, follow these steps:
At the top of the Website Editor, click Design.
In the Design menu, select Header.
Click Call-To-Action Buttons (sometimes labeled Arrange Call-To-Actions).
In the list that appears, drag any button up or down to change its position.
When you are satisfied with the new order, click Save.
Understanding how the list corresponds to your live site will help you prioritize your actions:
Primary Position - The first item in the list will appear furthest to the left (or top) on your live site.
Visual Hierarchy - Placing your most important button first ensures it is the first action a visitor notices.
Immediate Updates - Once saved, the header on your website will immediately reflect the new order.
Visitor Engagement - Strategic placement of buttons can significantly improve how visitors interact with your site's most important links.
Auto-Save - If a Save button is not visible, simply closing the window will apply the new arrangement.
Consistency - Ensure that the most critical call-to-action is consistently positioned to create a familiar experience for returning users.
